When is the Promotion Period?
The Promotion will take place from 11th July 2022 to 11th August 2022 (“Promotion Period”). Samsung reserves the right to amend the Campaign Period at its sole discretion without prior notice.
When is the Redemption Period?
Redemption period starts from 11th July to 14 th August 2022. No extension of redemption period will be allowed. Samsung reserves the right to amend the period at any time as they deem fit without prior notice.
Redemption Process:
1) Following your purchase, you can submit your redemption to Samsung Redemption Management System visit https://samsung-redemption.com/customer/#/sasso/MY-gwp-690 and click “redeem now” to complete the online redemption form and submit within redemption period.
2) You will need to enter the following information: -
- Store of purchase
- Date of purchase
- Invoice number
- Model purchased Serial Number/ Model Code
- Recipient Name
- Email Address
- Contact Number
- Identified Number
- Upload a copy of Proof of Purchase (the Receipt with Model Code)
- Letter of authorization (if necessary)
3) Uploaded document must be a PDF document or in an image format (jpg, jpeg or png format). Maximum size of each document is 5MB. Any documents with unclear details may delay the redemption process. Any submission after the Redemption Period will be void.
4) The redemption request will be processed by Samsung Customer Service Team within 10 business days from redemption submission date and warranty will be activated accordingly.
5) It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all the details stated in the redemption form is accurate. Each email address/ recipients’ name/ recipients’ address/ mobile numbers/ invoice can only have a maximum of 5 times submission provided all the proof of purchase /receipt is valid. The information stated in the redemption form cannot be changed once is submitted.
Terms and Conditions:
a) This Promotion is only valid during the Promotion Period.
b) Samsung shall reserve the right to amend/change the terms and conditions herein including but not limited to change any promotion price, shorten or extend the Promotion Period at its sole discretion without prior notice to the end-users. However, notice will be given to the Business Partner/Dealer on the change of Promotion Period, Promotion price and/or any of the terms and conditions herein.
c) This Promotion is only applicable for consumers and not applicable to Business Partner/Dealer, resellers and its employees, staff or workers.
d) Samsung will provide point-of-sale materials and advertisements deemed necessary by the Samsung for this Promotion.
e) The Business Partner/Dealer shall issue the receipt under the name of the Customer/ Purchaser to enable them to redeem the free gift via Samsung Redemption system.
f) The Business Partner/Dealer shall at all times provide accurate Promotion details and product information to Customers.
g) The Business Partner/Dealer hereby agrees that Samsung is just a platform of communication between Business Partner/Dealer and Customers and Samsung shall not be liable for any disputes.
h) Any dispute arising directly or indirectly from this Promotion will not be entertained by the Samsung. The Business Partner/Dealer shall ensure that it has taken all necessary measures to ensure such dispute is amicably settled and does not escalate to the Samsung.
i) In the event of an electronic, computer, operational and/or technical error affecting the details or pricing or quantity of the product or any promotion on the website, Samsung reserves the absolute rights to rectify such error and/or cancel any transaction which has been entered into in reliance of the said error.
j) The Business Partner/ Dealer shall fully indemnify, and hold Samsung harmless from all liability and costs (including court costs and attorneys’ fees) resulting from claims, demands, or actions brought against the Samsung by anyone caused directly or indirectly by Business Partner/Dealer’s breach of the Terms & Conditions herein.
k) Samsung reserves its right to disqualify the Business Partner/Dealer from this Promotion or take necessary actions (including to void the claims from any party) if the Samsung has reasonable grounds to believe that the Business Partner/Dealer or its employees or staffs have violated any of these Terms & Conditions and/or any applicable laws including consumer protection, unlawful trade practices and fair trading.
l) Samsung reserves the right to void the claims of the Dealer in the event Samsung has any suspicion or has reasonable grounds for believing that the staffs of the Dealer or the Dealer is involved directly or indirectly of with bribery or corrupt practices.
m) The Business Partner/ Dealer shall (and shall ensure its employees) comply with and duly observe all obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“the PDPA”) and all applicable laws and regulations which arise in connection with this Promotion, and shall collect, use, process and disclose personal data only to the extent allowed by the PDPA and in such manner as is necessary to fulfill its obligations herein only for the purpose of this Promotion in accordance to Samsung Privacy Policy at http://www.samsung.com/my/info/privacy.html or as required by the law or any regulatory body.
n) By Participating in this Promotion, the Dealer is deemed to have unconditionally agreed to and accepted the Terms & Conditions stated herein.
o) This Promotion and the Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and any disputes arising out of or in connection shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
